Conflict-Free Metals Policy
This policy applies to all company products and supply chain activities, mandating compliance from suppliers, contractors, and partners.
I. Policy Objectives
1. Ban on Conflict Minerals: Prohibit the procurement of tin (Sn), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), and gold (Au) sourced from conflict-affected areas in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and its adjoining nine countries, preventing funds from reaching illegal armed groups.
2. Supply Chain Transparency: Achieve full traceability from mine to finished product through due diligence, third-party audits, and blockchain technology.
3. Compliance Risk Mitigation: Adhere to the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act, EU *Regulation (EU) 2017/821*, and China’s Responsible Mineral Procurement Guidelines.
II. Key Control Measures
Supplier Management
1. Commitment Letter: New metal material suppliers must submit a Conflict-Free Metals Declaration, explicitly rejecting DRC conflict minerals.
2. Data Collection: Suppliers of metal products must complete a Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) annually.
3. Supplier Requirements:
o Guangdong Vhood Electronic Technology Co. Ltd neither procures nor supports the use of conflict minerals.
o Guangdong Vhood Electronic Technology Co. Ltd mandates all suppliers to avoid conflict minerals and extend this requirement to sub-suppliers.
